1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Lost Money Locator ("the Service"), operated by Adept Property Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Lost Money Locator provides a free informational search service to help individuals identify potential unclaimed property, pension funds, foreclosure surplus funds, and other financial assets that may be held by government agencies or financial institutions. The Service is powered by Adept Property Services, a licensed property recovery agency.

Search results are based on publicly available data and are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any results.

3. No SSN Required

We do not require your Social Security Number to perform a search. We will never ask for your SSN, financial account numbers, or government-issued ID through this website.

4. Contingency Fee Agreement

If you choose to engage Adept Property Services to recover identified assets on your behalf, a contingency fee agreement will be presented separately before any recovery work begins. No fee is charged unless a successful recovery is made. The contingency fee percentage will be clearly disclosed in your signed agreement.

Use of the free scan does not obligate you to engage Adept Property Services for recovery.

5. DIY Claim Guide

The DIY Claim Guide is a digital PDF product sold for $29.95. All sales are final. The guide provides general instructions for filing unclaimed property claims directly with state agencies. It does not constitute legal advice and does not guarantee recovery of any funds.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when submitting a scan request
• Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or misuse the Service
• Not submit false or fraudulent claims

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific results will be found or recovered.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Adept Property Services and Lost Money Locator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Georgia.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
